Sign in to the Microsoft account you want to update. Microsoft account Go to Payment & billing and select Payment options. You can add or edit payment methods from here. Under Payment methods, you can Add a new payment method, View or edit card, or Remove card. Enter your updated info, and select Save.
If you want to add a new payment for a Microsoft subscription, you'll need to add it on the Services & subscriptions page. For more info, see How to change your Microsoft subscription payment method and options. I get a message to contact support when I try to remove a payment option You may have a past due balance due for a Microsoft subscription.

Adding a new payment method to pay for a past-due subscription doesn't automatically change the default payment method for your subscription. If you want to change how you pay for a subscription, see:
Get Microsoft billing support. Find help with Microsoft Store purchases, subscriptions, refunds, payment options, and checking your order history.
