I've used Accel brand, & a couple different generic ones and an AC Delco one, they all only seem to last a few months. The longest I've had them last has been 6 months.

I can change jets, rods, accel pump shot and only affect the areas that those parts control but if I change the stepup springs to the wrong ones the car can become almost undriveable at times. Im talking 1"Hg changes can make a big difference with those springs. With 10"Hg of vacuum you must a pretty large bump stick in there.
i found that accel u-groove has them, but cant figure out how hot of a plug to use.
