On warm days, it's nice to sit on the patio. For lunch, I brought food back to hubby from Alfalfa. Their meny is awesome, but you must check out the daily chalkboard items as well. I chose the Tomato Bisque Soup, Broccoli Quiche and a side of German potato salad. Big hit! Supposedly Calipari loves the soup, it's one of the best I've tasted.

They had a great B&B, with alfalfa sprouts, in the 80's. The "Queen Anne" B&B at The Cafe on Brent street is a great example. I actually think (of course, all chefs do) my benedictine is the bomb. NO FOOD COLORING! (although, I will admit, as a caterer, people don't really seem to recognize benedictine unless it's colored green).
I haven't tried it, but Ramsey's in Lexington have vegetarian ones. Also, Alfalfa's in Lexington had them as a special once (though I didn't try it), but it doesn't appear to be on the regular menu.
