Link Isn't Amnesia collection already on Switch? Frictional is a great horror studio that even when they miss a bit still make really interesting games. I think the Amnesia or Alien Isolation style would be a better fit than Resident Evil. I don't know what enemies you could come up with other than an unkillable Michael Myers. I guess you could come up with some sort of Michael Myers worshipping cult but that would really stretch the authenticity to the movies and the general vibe you'd want to achieve.
Amnesia The Bunker is so much better than Visage. I don't like being that guy because I know people like it but man, I really can't stand that game. Bunker is an easy recommendation from me. Song of Horror is cool and has a pretty diverse cast of playable characters
You need to check out Amnesia: The Bunker and Routine then. You gonna shit your pants. The Bunker had me in such a state of panic that I quit the game and have not returned to it (yet), which is the best possible praise I can give. The only other games to ever have this effect on me have been The Dark Descent and Darkwood.
