Can anyone explain to me the exact meaning of the above? For example: "I am curious to meet your brother". What does "curious" mean in this context? I have a feeling that I know what it means as a complete sentence but I am not entirely sure what the word "curious" entails here.
If it is functioning as an adjective, I would like to see the sentence diagrammed so that "worth the effort" is defined--if you don't mind, Frank. After having found various definitions for the same word, I am curious: is there a good online dictionary? Any suggestions?
For example; I am curious as to how he did that. Right. The 'as to' part is more or less equivalent in meaning, and so can do similar kind of semantic work to the prepositions 'about' and 'concerning'. Conversely, most of the time when you can use 'as to', you can also use a preposition in a similar way.
