DMSO works by disrupting water in the startum corneum which allows for drugs to pass through. If your skin is dry - especislly from using a hydroalcoholic gel like Androgel, this will ensure better penetration.

First off DMSO should not be used as a carrier. It is an effective penetration enhancer and should be used 10 mins prior application of trans and 30 mins after to pull through residue. Is the DMSO still god? Two other things real quick, I saw a website that charges something like 100 bucks for 50ml of DMSO that they claim does not have the smell due to it's higher purity and lack of industrial solvents. Anyone know anything about different grades of DMSO? And finally, custom's T-gel has DMSF.
