Fly tyers can be masters at making things complicated! Poor quality materials and tools are destined to discourage beginner tiers and cause greater expense when the time comes to replace them.
Tough to beat for a dry fly rod but the length can be slightly challenging for nymphing on larger waters. 5 Weight - Sage X (590-4) - Really enjoy the touch of this rod given the power it provides. From my perspective, it was an upgrade from my old Sage One in the same size/weight - more versatile thanks to greater sensitivity in the tip.
