The Mountain gun series were designed to be easier to carry by reducing weight, while still having enough barrel length to let magnum rounds perform well, 4in barrel did that, to a certain extent. I think with a 6in barrel that kinda defeats the intended purpose. Something just looks right with the 4in Mountain guns also...
