Coral Snakes are tropical in nature like florida and west into Texas/Arizona and don’t live in northern latitudes. If ya see something that looks like a Coral in the north, it’s most likely a Corn Snake, maybe some kind of King Snake that tolerates cooler temps.

Yellow belly sea snakes can survive in water temps as cold as 64F but thrive in water 82F to 90F. Definitely could not survive in the Pacific ocean around here. Either someone is yanking someone's chain or there has been a misidentification. I believe wolf eels can have some yellow coloring.
