Iori Yagami Costume

Iori Yagami (八神 やがみ 庵 いおり) is a character from The King of Fighters series. He made his first appearance in The King of Fighters '95 as the initial enemy (and eventual rival) of Kyo Kusanagi, as well as the first leader of the Rivals Team and the first rival/deuteragonist of the series.

Iori is the born enemy of Kyo Kusanagi. The Yagami clan originally helped seal Orochi, but later made a pact with it. This gave them greater power, but shortened their lives. Iori joins KOF simply to fight Kyo. Before the King of Fighters '96 tournament, Iori is visited by Vice and Mature.

The Yagami clan is one of three ancient clans entrusted with a Sacred Treasure. As a descendent of this clan, Iori has access to abilities that allow him to tear apart his foes, and powerful amethyst flames granted by his knowledge of the Yagami Style of Ancient Martial Arts.
