Can we please look at making the petrify and morphs more noticeable? Impossible to see it while pvping.
Dk need a proper stun skill for pvp, this new petrify is almost like sorcerer Rune Cage or arcanist Rune of Eldritch Horror and nobody use it
You may notice petrify is blocked from use a LOT in pvp, mainly because many people use immovable potions which provide 15+ seconds of both root and stun immunity in addition to the normal immunity.
It's nice to see DC is still on top of any new cheats. A sorc using petrify.
Tanky magdks can throw out petrify frequently but without it they ability for lethal is almost non existent against a mildly resourceful pvp build with a little self healing. Throw cleanse into the equation and forget about it.
Petrify is incredibly usefull since it does not share the cast time woes of the other disorients and can be used efficiently in burst combos and as a tool to control the fight as mentioned above (even by stam dks btw). Agony however is and probably will always be useless.
The cost reduction and lack of damage make Petrify more utility-focused, while Stonefist deals more damage but requires more Magicka." As a stam dk, there really isn't much of a choice to make, stone fist isn't based off weapon damage. it can be reflected, and dodged.
I haven't played in almost a year, but how is it that a Sorc can cast Petrify?
