That worked fine for a couple days. Then, in hopes of fixing the USB issue, I tried allowing the recent seemingly-optional update: "2024-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5048667)". I believe it was after doing this that my headphones no longer give spatial audio, despite that feature being turned on.

There is a problem in Windows 10 that spatial sound effects cannot be turned on normally. It may be caused by the sound effect channel settings. You can try the following options to check and modify your channel settings: Start Menu >> Settings >> Ease of Access >> Hearing >> Audio, find "Open Mono Audio" and turn it off.

Select the available spatial sound effects in the Spatial Sound Effects tab Go to the "Advanced" tab, set the default format to "24-bit 192000Hz", check "Run the application to control this device exclusively" and "Give priority to exclusive mode applications" Now check if the spatial sound effect works.
