That worked fine for a couple days. Then, in hopes of fixing the USB issue, I tried allowing the recent seemingly-optional update: "2024-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5048667)". There is a problem in Windows 10 that spatial sound effects cannot be turned on normally. It may be caused by the sound effect channel settings. You can try the following options to check and modify your channel settings: Start Menu >> Settings >> Ease of Access >> Hearing >> Audio, find "Open Mono Audio" and turn it off.
