Stopping Distances And The Severity Of Collisions

I have rebooted the system and even ran the SP conifg wizard again but the issue continues to crop up. The service says it's running but no timer jobs are being run on the server. Also, if I try to restart the service it hangs on stopping the service and never comes back. Monday, 12:39 PM

Finally, in the AuthCabs folder, within the Software Distribution folder, delete what you can in there, stopping any programs that might be using it. Basically, the 4 folders (plus 1 subfolder) within the SoftwareDistribution directory can be emptied out: AuthCabs, DataStore (plus Logs), Downloads, and EventCache are all you should touch.

No issues adding them to the cluster and to the VMM, all went well. the issue started after some unknown time and is fixed after manually power down form iDrac and power on (not possible to do a soft boot as it get stuck in stopping cluster service) and the issue starts again after some time only with the new nodes. 2. VMM Version you are using?

Checking on this service, it indicates that it is starting/stopping, but never getting to the running stage. I have tried everything that I can think of, including uninstalling and re-installing the software. I have scoured the internet looking for solutions, but not finding one that will take care of the problem.

I've had pretty good luck with removing any orphaned connectors via direct SQL query then re-running the affected connectors. The other tricks of stopping the health service and clearing cache only worked for one specific instance for me. Can't remember where I found this fix, if anyone has a link somewhere I'd like to give credit for this.
