I've had the pole mod on both my Superfly and Mamajamba.. truth told it was like a epiphany when I first added it to the Mamajamba.. quite the game changer. It gives you more room to move around, dramatically reduces the frequency of the tarp blowing in against you when it's windy and pops the side up into porch mode so easily.
Supernoob here. I'm waiting for my 11' kit to arrive from RBTR as I prepare to make my first hammock. Now that I at least have a starter hammock in the works, I need to get a fly. If I recall correctly, there is a distinction in the materials of the two. The Superfly can be had in silnylon and silpoly while the Journey is a xenon tarp. The ...
I have the chance to pick up a gently used Superfly for pretty cheap. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience hanging two hammocks side by side under the superfly. Is there enough width? Can i use the extra fabric that make up the doors to extend coverage since each hammock won't be completely covered length wise due to cat cut?
