0-1.5" Rear. My question is do I need new UCA’s from doing this. If I do I was thinking about buying ksp billet UCA’s, not trying to break the bank. Would I need anything else to do to the truck after the lift? I think it should sit some what level, but is there anything else I should do? I want to put on 33’s.

Looking at suspension lifts is difficult enough, comparing front and rear shock types and leafs. Add in UCA options and my head is spinning. Can anyone give details on the pros/cons of the UCA choices out there for the Toyota Tacoma? Selecting a UCA is a large chunk of the cost of doing a suspension lift.

The polybushing itself only bears weight/ rotation, but even then its pinned against the washer and the UCA so it cant actually move. The only downside is that dirt could get onto the wear surface of the bushing and eventually make its way between the UCA and bushing wear surface causing it to fail faster.

You asked if anyone has had experience using those Elevate uca's you linked. The video shows those Elevate uca's being tested with nearly every shock available for Tacoma's.

The only benefit of getting a aftermarket uca is for the ball joint. Allowing you more down travel. And if you get a high caster uca….you will push your wheel into the firewall/wheel well and rub. I have 31” tires and was fine with stock uca. Put the jba high caster uca and I’m rubbing on mudflaps. Can’t imagine if I had 33” tires Yep.
