Stool gets its typical brownish color from bile, which flows into the small intestine during the digestive process. If the liver doesn't produce bile or if bile gets stuck in the liver, stool will be light colored or white. Often the problem occurs in the tube that delivers the bile to the small intestine. This tube is the bile duct.
Color blindness is an eye condition in which someone can't see the difference between certain colors. Though many people commonly use the term "color blind" for this condition, true color blindness — in which everything is seen in shades of black and white — is rare. The medical term for color blindness is known as color vision deficiency.
Color ranges from pink or light brown to deep maroon. It grows as the child grows. Most often, a port-wine stain appears on the face, but it can affect other areas. In adulthood, the involved skin may become thicker and darker. Port-wine stains may cause medical problems and emotional stress. Early laser therapy is the usual treatment.
