It is automatically white making it very difficult to see when trying to select text (Word, Outlook) or choose a cell (Excel). I've scoured forums and googled solutions, but nothing works universally. For example, I changed my Windows 11 mouse settings to "black", but that didn't fix the apps. How do I fix this so I can see the darn thing?

In the middle of the text discussion, two of his posts were white text on white background. I could read it in the recent chat column on the left (black on white), and if I highlighted all the text in the discussion pane, it was visible through the blue highlight.
